Natural Environment Reports

Licensing a pit or quarry to extract aggregate in Ontario requires addressing the requirements of Aggregate Resources Act and associated policy standards. The ARA stipulates that a licence application must be supported by a Natural Environment Report which identifies and protects significant natural features within and outside the proposed area to be licensed.

Terrastory's vast experience with and thorough knowledge of the ARA approval process allows us to prepare sound, defensible reports and offer on-going advice to the project team during preparation of the site, operation, and rehabilitation plans. Our studies and reports have supported all different kinds of ARA applications including gravel pits, limestone quarries, granite quarries, and below-water extraction.
